Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 movie for which she received the British Academy Television Award as the best actress. She speaks fluently French, German and English. Her father, a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's top theatre schools, is a theatre teacher. The Mangalia Gala, which is a celebration of Young Actors, she was awarded the Best Female Actor Award 2000. She was chosen as an European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She was a teacher of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for four years. bAnamaria is a Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978, Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian descent, made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for the role. The role she played in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 Weeks, as well as 2 Days is remembered as well. The film won her many prizes, including the European Film Award Best Actress to London Film Critics. In 2007, she starred on the Romanian film 4 luni 3 weeks si2 (4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days), by Cristian Mungiu. The film was awarded two awards at Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize from the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film that she was in. In 2008 she was the character Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later she as Irma's German grandmother in Fury that was released in 2014.
